Don Trousdell: Not your ordinary artist

The February issue of Old City Life is all about love but the article that I wrote for the publication focused on the love of art from local St. Augustine artist Don Trousdell. He uses mixed media to create an array of themed traveling exhibits that focus on teaching art lovers a little something extra.

Trousdell’s exhibit “Ordinary People” is a large collection of art depicting the earliest settlers from St. Augustine. The collection has been purchased by the City of St. Augustine to showcase the coastal town’s roots as the oldest city in the country.
